Lately I’ve been really into British comedy, mostly thanks to Nab and the other Ukids putting me on to the phenomenal Peep Show and The Day Today. But I think I’ve found a new addiction in the Ricky Gervais’ HBO/BBC sitcom Extras, written, directed, and starring Rick Gervais. The premise is simple enough: Film extras working on sets and theater have hilarious encounters with various actors. The result though is pretty darn funny, and the cameos are ace. (more…)
